Questions

Roofing claim help, straight answers.

What is ClaimClosed?

ClaimClosed is claim software with a team behind it, built for roofers and storm restoration contractors. One membership covers three things. White glove claim processing: our claim coordinators work your claim inside your company from open to close. Training on a claim from the first knock to the final check. And DoorZ: doors that got hit, ready to knock.

What is a Closability Score?

A score out of 100 that shows how ready a roof claim is before the carrier decides it. It weighs your storm data, test squares, collateral damage, photos, repairability evidence and paper trail, plus claim history with that carrier. 70 is ready. Members also see a Supplement Score: how much of the proof a supplement needs is already in the file. It unlocks when you join free. Your first score is free and takes about a minute. Join free and you get 97 free scores a month.

What if my score is under 70?

You get the list of fixes that takes the file to 70, and you can ask for a free review of the claim. No charge.

What happens when you hand us a file?

You send us the claim in your portal. A claim coordinator works your file and follows up until it closes. Our Chief Claims Coordinator, a licensed adjuster with 15 years of experience, is over every claim coordinator. He reviews and certifies the file and has the final say on everything that happens from open to close. You see every step we take and what is next, and you get a recap by email every Monday.

How is this different from claim prediction software and other claim apps?

Most claim apps sell one piece: a prediction, a storm map, a supplement tool. Every one of those is a part of what goes into a file we work. With ClaimClosed you do not have to run the tools. You hand us the claim and our claim coordinators work it from open to close. Your first score is free and there is no charge per score.

What is a Hail Trail?

Your route for the month. Premium members get 97 DoorZ from the storm nearest them, picked for how likely the claim is to close. VIP gets 997, plus fresh routes for every new storm.

What is a DoorZ?

One door, ready to knock. You get the address, a Closability Score built before you knock, the owner on record and the hail that hit it, when we have it. DoorZ are $1 each on the free plan, 50 cents each on Premium and 25 cents each on VIP.

How is a DoorZ score different from a regular score?

A regular Closability Score is for a claim you already have. You answer ten questions and it scores the file. No storm lookup. No owner info. A DoorZ score is for a door you have not knocked yet. We build it from the storm and the property record, so you know which doors to knock first. It cannot see the roof. Once you inspect, run a regular score.

What does it cost?

It is free to join. Free members get 97 free scores a month, pay $1 per DoorZ and pay a 10% staffing fee on approved claims our claim coordinators work. Premium is $97 a month or $997 a year: 997 scores and 97 DoorZ a month, more DoorZ at 50 cents each, and our claim coordinators work your files from open to close for 7% flat, not 10%. On a $15,000 claim that saves you $450. VIP is $997 a month or $9,997 a year, with no limit on scores.

What is in the VIP plan?

Everything in Premium, built for a roofer who wants to own a storm. You get no limit on scores. You get 997 DoorZ a month, mapped to the storm swath near you, and more at 25 cents each. Every new storm gets mapped into fresh door routes. We set up your sales scripts, SOPs and a custom claims dashboard. And your storm swath is locked: one VIP roofer per swath.

Who is it for?

Roofing companies, storm restoration contractors and door to door reps who work hail and wind damage insurance claims.

My roof claim was denied or underpaid. Can I still score it?

Yes. Pick “Denied or came up short” in the quiz. Your score shows what is missing from the file and the fixes that take it to 70.

What does the training cover?

Ten sections: finding the storm, mapping it, knocking it, the inspection, filing the claim, the adjuster meeting, what to do after it, carrier follow up, supplements and escalation, and closing the claim.

Is the score a guarantee?

No. It is an early read on the file. The carrier decides the claim.
